Looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Software Developer with 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in software development. The ideal candidate will assist in developing, testing, and maintaining applications while collaborating closely with senior developers and cross-functional teams.

Academics
  • Qualification
    • B.E/B. Tech (CSE, IT, ECE)

  • Full time course recognized by the Central/State Government of India; No part-time or correspondence or distance learning education in degree, 10th or 12th
    • 2023 BE/B.Tech/MCA pass outs

  • Experience : 1 - 2 Years with industry experience must on technologies Dotnet/Java/JavaScript/Databases/Data Analytics/Python

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Develop, test, debug, and maintain software applications according to business requirements.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to design discussions.
  • Collaborate with QA and product teams to ensure software quality and performance.
  • Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in existing applications.
  • Attend daily stand-ups or scrum meetings (if in an Agile team).
  • Learn about new tools, emerging technologies, and best practices in software development.
  • Improve domain knowledge and technology implementation skills under guidance from seniors
Must Have Skills:
  • Strong on Object Oriented Programming concepts
  • Good awareness about technology/tool you have learned
  • Basic understanding and working knowledge of databases and SQL (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
  • Strong understanding of algorithms and basic coding skills, particularly if the candidate has relevant experience of working in the technology.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to approach and apply while solutioning to problem statement/case
  • Willingness and ability to push self and go extra mile
  • Proactive, Explorative, Agile and fast-paced capability of learning and delivering
Optional / Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP)
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., Docker, CI/CD pipelines)
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and web services
  • Basic knowledge of unit testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit, JUnit, or Mocha)
  • Understanding of security best practices in application development

  • Candidates who have participated in any selection process held by Contata in the last six months are not eligible
  • You should be an Indian citizen or should hold a PIO or OCI card, in the event of holding a valid passport of any other country
  • Candidates are eligible for re-registration, only after 90 days or 3 months from the prior online assessment given, however we are inviting candidates for the online assessment at Contata’s discretion.

About the Job

Selected candidates will be trained in the intricacies of software product design and development. They will undergo exhaustive training, guidance and mentorship which will be a mix of classroom training, on the job training and project assignments as shadows – based on personal aptitude, performance, and business needs of the organization.

They will be using and working with the latest tools, technologies, and experienced software professional and get exposed to working style of international customers.

Roles & Responsibilities: 

As a Trainee Software Developer, you will be expected to take ownership of your learning and contribute to real-world projects with responsibility and accountability. Key responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrate a strong learning mindset and proactive participation during training sessions on technologies, tools, and products.
